Yes, you read correctly, I have been asked to take part in the demonstration runs along side the likes of WRC star Kris Meeke at the Cultra Hill Climb on Saturday 11th September.
This is a great honour, as the Cultra event is one of the longest running motorsport events in Ireland (the first run was 1905), and I’ll be running in the demos along with other classic icons such as a proper Group-B monster Audi S1 Quattro. This is a totally different type of venue for both myself and the car, and I’m very excited by the prospect.
Expect there to be a range of classic and vintage cars both on show and taking part in the climb, so definitely a great day out for enthusiasts and with the Folk and Transport museum on site it makes it a great family day out.
